Being a woman, I can say that it feels so good to live in a country where women are creating their own identities and making their nation proud. No doubt that still some filthy people exist, who by every means try to degrade women and are not very supportive of all the steps but it is beautiful to see women who despite these boundaries, never give up and with such determined spirits, never look back!

1. Indra Nooyi, Chairperson and CEO- Pepsico
This Tamil born woman, did her Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Madras Christian College and her Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Later she earned a master’s degree in public and private management from Yale School of Management. She started from being a product manager at Johnson & Johnson and textile firm Mettur Beardsell, moving on to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and then Motorola and Asea Brown Boveri. She joined PepsiCo in 1994 and became the President and CFO in 2001. She has a lot of awards to her name, including Padma Bhushan.
