Actress Sameera Reddy replied to the trolls who body shamed her during her second pregnancy in an event. Sameera expressed her views on people thinking that she’s “not so hot” anymore.
“I want to ask people, who indulge in body shaming, you have also taken birth through your mom’s body, right? And after giving birth, did you ask your mom, is she still hot? Body shaming is very wrong and disgraceful.” Sameera posed this question to the trolls.
The actress also said that pregnancy is a natural process and referred to the pregnancy days of Kareena Kapoor while stating that being in shape like Kareena is not possible for everyone and that she is very happy with her figure.
The actress tried to keep her second pregnancy a secret and she was surprised when the news surfaced on the media. “Gosh! How did you know? I have not told a soul yet. But now that you have called, yes, let me tell you the truth that I’m carrying for the second time. I’m four months pregnant. This is a planned baby. It is one of the reasons why I have refused quite a bit of work in the recent past. Akshai and I wanted to have the second baby in 2019. My due date is in July” said Reddy.
Sameera did a very covert wedding with businessman Akshay Varde in 2014 and conceived her first child in 2015.
